King   I have been teaching high school science since 2004.  I am very excited to be a part of the Alexander Early College Team.  I am enjoying working with ACHS, CVCC, and the wonderful community of Alexander County.

My Classroom Mission

All students will work to complete every assignment and put forth their very best effort to maintain a passing average throughout the semester.  Students will also strive to earn at least an 85% on the Biology End-of-Course State Exam, the Chemistry Teacher-Made Final Exam, or the Earth and Environmental Science Teacher-Made Final Exam.

About Me

I received my teaching degree from Appalachian State University after receiving my BA in Biology and Mathematics from Salem College.  I will begin my 20th year (WOOHOO!!!) of teaching in August 2023.  I have taught in Wilkes, Newton-Conover, and Iredell-Statesville counties.  I am very fortunate to have a wonderful son, a miniature pincher, and a rex bunny.
